		<description><![CDATA[Loved the film - I&#039;ve not seen it years but I did see it very recently. I think Bunuel is not only poking fun at the upper crust, but he is also enjoying himself immensely by depriving us of our expectations, or even more so - standing our expectations on their heads.

I mean who expects the Bishop to show up as a gardner. Who expects the Army, out in the field on maneuvers, to crash the dinner. The more times they tried to have that dinner, the more absurd the interruptions became. 

Thanks for bringing this film to mind and for the great read.
